City of San Angelo Releases COVID-19 Patients

In coordination with the State of Texas, the health department and city attorney’s office have been working on our active case log over the last week to close out cases that are no longer active. The cases were still under investigation or were cases that never sought an official release and thus remained in our active case category.

Since our last report on September 16, a total of 478 cases were released from active monitoring by both the San Angelo Health Department and the Department of State Health Services contact tracers. A total of 21 contacts of cases were also released. There are 167 pending tests between Shannon Medical Center and San Angelo Community Medical Center.
